Earlier this week Clayton Le Sann, the 6’4 combo guard out of Switzerland, signed and accepted a scholarship with Holy Cross University. Clayton will begin his Division-I college career at Holy Cross in the fall of 2016. Between now and then Clayton will be playing at Cheshire Academy and competing in one of the top ranked high school leagues in the U.S.
Clayton is a two year member of Global Squad from 2014-2015. Standing just under 6’5, Clayton was a match-up nightmare for opponents. He has a lights out jump shot, excellent ball-handling skills, and the ability control tempo. With very few weaknesses, Clayton seems poised to have a standout career in the Patriot League.
Clayton finished his Global Squad career ranked in the top ten for assists (3rd), points (7th), rebounds (7th), steals (7th), 3-pointers made (8th), and free-throw percentage (8th). Clayton helped lead the Gold Dragons to a 29-15 record, including two tournament championships.
We’re extremely proud of Clayton and how hard he worked to make his dreams of playing NCAA Division-I basketball a reality. Good job, Clayton! You’ve earned this!
